Photon Kathaas production next venture is  Titled 'Thanga Meengal', the film will be directed by Ram of 'Katradhu Thamizh' fame. The director himself will play the hero of the movie, which will be produced by Gautham along with R S Infotainment. Says Ram, “I made a decision to play the lead role myself since I thought that it would fit well to me. The movie is about a bad son, who becomes a good father later. An eight year old girl is acting along with me.” Gautham menon's Photon is currently making 'Veppam', 'Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai' and 'Nadunisi Naaigal'.  'Thanga Meengal's  shooting  will start in Nagercoil on January 18. A host of new faces will be part of this venture. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
