Bollywood's Khiladi Akshay Kumar who was last seen in 'Padman' has recently seen a Marathi film 'Chumbak' directed by Sandeep Modi that features lyricist Swanand Kirkire in the lead role. The film was aired at 2017 MAMI Mumbai film festival and looks like it connects with Akshay Kumar deep down to his heart. The actor went on expressing himself about presenting this film that he cannot keep out of his head.
The film is a story of friendship between a restaurant busboy and a villager young lad. Chumbak is a coming-of-age story of a 15-year-old Baalu and his chance encounter with a 45-year-old mentally challenged man, Prasanna played by Swanand Kirkire.
