Sounds unbelievable right? According to Clooney's co-star Violante Placido in the upcoming flick 'The American', the hunk felt very shy about stripping and making love on camera.

Actress Violante Placido plays Clooney's love interest in 'The American' and they have quite a few steamy scenes in the movie. George's character is an American hitman, who takes a break from his day-job and tries to have peaceful vacation in a quiet Italian village. Clooney and Placido play onscreen lovers and the film required them to romp around on the bed, but Clooney confessed that he is not used to shooting sex scenes.

According to Placido, Clooney felt very uncomfortable stripping in front of the camera. Finally the duo agreed to trust each other and let go of their inhibitions. In order to make the love making look real the actors had a good conversation and went ahead with the shot. Clooney is an extremely professional actor and he tries to give his 100% in each shot, so he just let go of his inhibitions and wrapped up the shot.

'The American' is a must-watch for all those who want to catch Clooney as a trigger happy Assassin with a soft emotional side.
