Gerard Butler entertained guests at a Golden Globes after-party with footage of his recent near-death experience.
The Hollywood hunk was taken to hospital after he had a surfing accident while shooting his upcoming movie Of Men and Mavericks. He was held under water after a huge wave crashed over his head, and has admitted he was terrified.
The star attended the Weinstein Company's Golden Globes after-party following the awards ceremony on Sunday, where according to New York Post he relived the experience.
"Gerard Butler showed footage on his cellphone of his harrowing recent surfing accident to guests at the Weinstein Co.'s Golden Globes after-party Sunday," the publication reports.
The party was held at the BAR210 space at the Beverly Hilton hotel, with many big names in attendance. Winners at Sunday night's ceremony Michelle Williams, Meryl Streep, Morgan Freeman and Jean Dujardin all went along, as did P. Diddy, Jane Fonda, Leonardo DiCaprio, Madonna, Viola Davis and Dame Helen Mirren.
Jean appeared to have fun at the bash, and jokingly told the Los Angeles Times' Ministry of Gossip he plans to store his best actor trophy in his bed.
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian was also there, although she kept a low profile. The star was the butt of one of host Ricky Gervais' jokes at the annual event, when he poked fun at her short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries. She spent time with Lindsay Lohan at the after-party.
Many stars also went to the CAA's Sunset Tower after-party, including Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Brad managed to get around without the help of the cane he's been using lately, and was seen having fun with George Clooney and Leonardo.
Bradley Cooper put in an appearance at the event, staying until 2am and spending a lot of time deep in conversation with Emma Stone.
Also spotted there were Adam Levine and Mila Kunis.
