'Aaya Re Thackeray' song shows the popularity of Balasaheb

14th January 2019

The makers of 'Thackeray' have dropped its first song and Nawazuddin Siddiqui essays this powerful role with a lot of conviction. The highlight of the song is the crowd who goes crazy as Balasaheb marches towards the podium for his speech. From a little kid to an old lady everyone is crazy and wants to get a glimpse of a great Maratha leader.

Nawaz catches small etiquettes well and going by the appearance he is believable as Balasaheb too. However, it is the love for his Maratha tradition that is correctly showcased in this song, as he showers flowers on the large portrait of Shivaji Maharaj. We witness the popularity of the leader who did what he had promised and the lyrics of the song says the same. Click here to watch the music video.

The catchy lyrics of the song go, "Aaya Re Aaya Re Sabkaa Baap Re, Kehte hain isko...Thackeray!" Nakash Aziz has crooned the song which was penned by Dr. Sunil Jogi. Rohan Rohan has composed the music which makes it an energetic anthem song.

Sharing the song on his official twitter handle Nawaz wrote, "Aaya Re Aaya Re Sabkaa Baap Re, Kehte hain isko...Thackeray! #AayaReThackeray song out now@rautsanjay61 @AmritaRao @Viacom18Movies  @ajitandhare @abhijitpanse @ThackerayFilm @NakashAzizOfficial @RohanAndrohan @ZeeMusicCompany"

The Messiah of the Mumbai and the Shiv Sena Suprema is perfectly portrayed in the song showcasing his popularity.
