Despite boasting an army of male admirers, the 38-year-old former Spice Girl has spoken about her battle with low self-esteem in the past.

Geri has come up with the perfect way to pick herself up if shes ever feeling unattractive though, and thinks a simple shopping spree can solve many problems.

I go from all angles and try to be kind and loving to myself and sometimes an outside action feeds the inside, like treating myself to that new piece of clothing, she explained to the British edition of Glamour magazine.

When Geri does decide to go on a splurge, one of her favourite items to invest in is a new bikini. The gorgeous star is a massive fan of beachwear, and in January unveiled a trendy new swimwear line which she created in collaboration with British high street retailer Next.

The celebrity admits she wanted to make sure the line was affordable, as she considers it important to have plenty of different bikinis to take on vacation rather than splurging on one really expensive piece.

I change my knickers every day, so I want to change my bikini every day! But I dont want to spend a huge amount of money, she added. (C) Cover Media
