Giuliana Rancic is "looking forward" to her professional prospects this year.

The E! News presenter and her husband Bill announced that the fifth season of their reality show Giuliana and Bill will begin airing on Style network in April.

People reports that Giuliana is elated to begin focusing on her career again following her breast cancer operation last month.

"In 2011, we faced our scariest obstacle yet when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, but as we start 2012, I am focused on living in the present," Giuliana wrote in a statement released today. "Bill and I look forward to this new year of opportunity and good health and can't wait to once again share our journey with the Style viewers."

Giuliana underwent a double mastectomy on December 13.

The star was diagnosed with breast cancer in October and after a lumpectomy was unsuccessful she decided to go for the surgery to drastically reduce the chance of the disease ever coming back.

Giuliana is working on numerous other projects this year. She will executive produce and star in Style network public service announcements that are aimed at educating viewers on breast cancer awareness.
