Gopichand was in the news recently following the suicide of a businessman, who took the extreme step after the marriage of his daughter with the Tollywood actor was put off.

Meanwhile on Sunday, director Chandrasekhar Yeleti, who is popular for his movies like "Aitey" and "Anukokunda Oka Roju", started his new movie with Gopichand. 

The project was formally launched on 26th February at producer BVSN Prasad’s office. Ace filmmaker S S Rajamouli marked his presence felt at the muhurtham ceremony.

An adventurous thriller, the movie deals with a treasure hunt. The director said, 'Unlike my earlier four films, this is complete action-oriented movie. I am happy to work with Gopichand.'
