With fame comes controversies and gossip and Charmi is no exception. After her debut opposite STR in 'Kadhal Azhivadhillai', she went on to become one of the top actresses in Tollywood. With her top actress status, gossip is bound to involve her. Latest buzz is that actor Sonu Sood is dating this starlet.

While working on the Hindi film 'Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap', Charmi and Sonu clicked and went on to become "good friends". Ever since the movie, Sonu has been recommending Charmi to Bollywood producers.

However, Sonu denies the gossip, "I am happily living with my wife and children. I am not in love with Charmi. She is my good friend and ours is a very decent relationship. There is no place for anything else."
 
Clearing the air further, Sonu Sood adds, "The fact is that we didn't even meet once on the sets of 'Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap'. Because, we were shooting with different units and we only spoke over the phone, that too not more than a couple of times."
