The baddie of the Tollywood and Kollywood industry, Sonu Sood was recently approached by the makers of 'Gabbar Singh' to reprise the role of Chedi Singh which he played in 'Dabangg'. Sonu surprisingly turned down the offer.

In the super-hit Salman Khan film 'Dabangg', Sonu had played the role of Chedi Singh. He is playing the same role in 'Osthi', the Tamil remake of the film; but has declined the role in Telugu.

The reasons for his rejection are yet unknown but sourses claim that the actor has issues with the dates of the shoot. It is also said that this role will be offered to Prakash Raj. The film is directed by Harish Shankar, starring Pawan Kumar and Shruti Haasan in the lead.
