Gwyneth Paltrow covering Adele

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Gwyneth Paltrow will perform an Adele song when she next appears in Glee.

The Oscar-winning actress has had a recurring role in the current season of the popular American television show. Gwyneth plays quirky substitute teacher Holly Holliday and is set to return in another new episode.

This time Gwyneth will be showing off her vocal talents with a rendition of Adeles track Turning Tables. The touching ballad features on the British singers new album 21, which has been a huge hit around the world.

Since Gwyneth first appeared on Glee, she has performed a host of hit songs most memorably Cee Lo Greens song Forget You.

She has also developed a friendship with Glee actor Matthew Morrison, who plays her love interest Mr. Schuester in the show. The pair have recorded a duet, Over the Rainbow, for Matthews debut album and the single will be released on iTunes this week.

Matthew recently revealed he is a huge fan of Adele and regularly listens to her records.

"I love Adele. Turning Tables is one of my favourite songs right now, he said.

Gwyneth, who showed off her vocal talents in her role as a country singer in Country Song, is believed to be close to signing a record deal. (C) Cover Media
