Adele records Bond theme

1st October 2012

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Adele has recorded the new James Bond theme song.

After months of speculation, the 24-year-old posted a picture of the song credits on her Twitter page.

The track is for upcoming 007 movie Skyfall, which stars Daniel Craig.

The image shows the cover page of sheet music for the track, and lists the composers as A[dele] Adkins and P[aul] Epworth, who co-wrote and produced her hit Rolling in the Deep.

Sony Pictures, which distributes the Bond movies, has so far declined to comment about the rumours surrounding the theme song.

The Someone Like You singer first hinted she was involved when she spoke to British talk show host Jonathan Ross in September 2011.

"I'm going back in the studio in November, fingers crossed," the singer confessed at the time.

"Well this is actually a theme, what I've got to do for, um Wow. That's really giving something away isn't it?"

Skyfall is the 23rd Bond film and is due for release later this month. (C) Cover Media
