(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Gwyneth Paltrow has spoken of her happiness for pregnant friend Beyonc Knowles.

The Oscar winning actress is a mother-of-two herself and says that even though the singer has achieved a tremendous amount it will be nothing compared to motherhood.

Speaking to Extra TV while promoting her new film Contagion in Venice, Italy, Gwyneth gushed about how raising daughter Apple, seven, and Moses, five, changed her life.

"I think motherhood is the biggest blessing of all time and it gives your life real meaning," Gwyneth said.

"It's always interesting when you're a woman with success and you've achieve a lot, and then you have a baby and you realise everything you thought was an achievement really is nothing until you have a kid.

"I think that will be her experience, and it's wonderful to see her so happy right now, and so looking forward to the experience. I'm very happy for them."

Beyonc, 30, announced her pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards last month and is said to be delighted about expecting her first child with rapper husband Jay-Z.

She will no doubt get tips from Gwyneth, 37, on raising children who says that she is not too overprotective with her children.

"I don't keep them in a plastic bubble," she shared. "I think it's good for kids to get germy and dirty, and that's how they build their immune systems. You can't be too overprotective. They have to be out there in the world." (C) Cover Media
