(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Halle Berry has reportedly broken her foot.

TMZ are reporting that the actress, who is currently in Spain shooting a movie, suffered the injury this morning.

The 45-year-old was apparently walking around the property where she is staying and simply took a misstep.

She apparently heard a crack and then felt the pain shooting through her leg.

The Oscar-winning star was then rushed to hospital where her foot was put in a cast. She was reportedly taken out of the emergency room in a wheelchair.

Sources have told the site that production on the film Cloud Atlas now has to work around her.

The immediate plan is that they will shoot around Halle with other cast members for the next week or two and then may have to film her from the waist up or use a stunt double when she is feeling better.

Halle is starring in the movie which is being billed as "an epic story of humankind in which the actions and consequences of our lives impact one another through the past, present and future."

The movie also stars Tom Hanks, Hugh Grant and Susan Sarandon and is due for release in October 2012.

Halle has been seen spending time with boyfriend Olivier Martinez and daughter Nahla around the European country in recent weeks. (C) Cover Media
