(Cover) - EN Star Style - Halle Berry tests dresses in every scenario before she decides what to wear on awards nights.

The Oscar-winning actress is nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the film Frankie and Alice, and is currently working hard to procure the perfect outfit to wear at Sundays ceremony.

The 44-year-old is mindful dresses can change in certain lights and can sometimes look unflattering when she is sitting down, which have an effect on her choice of clothes.

"I look at everything someone wants me to wear," she explained on Hollywood Uncensored with Halle Berry on Reelz Channel. "I look at it all, and I decide by what it looks like on. We test it, we get in different kinds of lights, we walk in it, we sit in it, we make sure that in every possible scenario, it looks good.

The actress is known for her bold attitude towards fashion, opting for low-cut neck lines and even transparent outfits on occasion.

Halle is particularly fond of showing off her legs, and is critical of suggestions they should be covered up.

"Sometimes things are a little see-through. I think, God gave us legs so why not see them?" Halle said. "It may look like a faux-pas, but it's meant to be." (C) Cover Media
