Prince William wearing innovative wedding shirt

14th January 2011

(Cover) - EN Star Style - Britains Prince William will reportedly wear Italian attire on his wedding day.

The handsome royal is set to marry girlfriend of eight years Kate Middleton on April 29 at Westminster Abbey in London, England, and speculation over how the pair will dress has been rife.

Most attention has so far been on style icon Kate, although it has now been claimed William has been busy planning a dapper outfit.

Italian newspapers have reported that Williams wedding shirt is being made by a small Italian family business called G. Inglese. Apparently, the Prince had been attracted to the firm after receiving a bespoke shirt from a pal who had been holidaying in Italy.

"It all started with his close friends who spend their summer holidays in Puglia. They are my customers and bought a couple shirts as a gift. From there, the idea of the shirt for the wedding," said Sr. Inglese to website Affaritaliani.

"They gave my shirts to Prince William as a gift and then he asked me to design him a shirt for his wedding. He got the event manager to call me."

The tailor has described the alleged royal wedding shirt as being "classic but innovative and youthful at the same time".

A spokeswoman for Clarence House has described the report as speculative, confirming no one will know the nature of the outfits Kate and Price William have planned until the big day. (C) Cover Media
