The young and talented actress Hansika Motwani has refuted reports that appeared in the media and created a buzz that claimed she would be playing the lead role in a movie to be produced and directed by  Shashikumar.

A section of the press reported recently that Shashikumar has signed Hansika to play the leading lady's role in his next film, after 'Sundarapandian'. 

However, Hansika has denied it. The actress, who is currently busy working with 'Singham 2' opposite Suriya, says, "I am not doing Shashi's film. I am busy with 'Singham 2' and 'Settai'. Will keep you (the press) updated on future projects".
