Looks like it's time for a change, for Hansika Motwani. The actress, who was so far seen in glamorous and chirpy roles, is playing a tough don in Vettai Mannan, which has Simbu and Jai as protagonists.

"Hardly have I smiled in this movie, as the character requires me to sport a serious look. It is a role which I have not done so far. I enjoy doing it", says Hansika, who is currently busy shooting for the movie.

Directed by Nelson, Vettai Mannan is proudced by S S Chakravarthy of NIC Arts, who was earlier associated with Ajith and dished out super hit films such as Vaali, Mugavari, Citizen and Red.

"Vettai Mannan will he an adrenaline pumping action flick", concludes Hansika. Deeksha Seth is the second lead in this film, which is taking shape fast in and around Chennai. A foreign schedule is also being planned.
