Happy Birthday to the Nawab of Bollywood

16th August 2013
There are several Bollywood actors who turn more handsome with age! His gait, sleek look and enthralling romantic fleet of films in the 2000s have landed him in the league of Bollywood's fabulous Khans!

Today, on the superstar's 43rd Birthday, FRIDAYMOVIEZ wishes the Nawab a fabulous day!

Quite the Nawabi style icon, Saif Ali Khan is looked upon as one of the better dressed Bollywood heroes - both onscreen and off it. He looks suave and sophisticated most of the time, even in T-shirt and jeans. Whether it’s his raw look in Omkara or his chocolate boy style in Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Hum Tum, Salaam Namaste and Tara Rum Pum - fans adore him.

Having made his acting debut in 1992, Khan had his first success with the 1994 film 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari'. He rose to prominence with his performance in 'Dil Chahta Hai', which marked his professional turning point. His work in 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' won him the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor and he was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in 'Hum Tum'.

He subsequently had further mainstream success with films like 'Salaam Namaste' and 'Race' and starred in critically acclaimed projects such as 'Parineeta', 'Being Cyrus' and 'Omkara'.

In 2009, Khan branched out into film production with his company Illuminati Films, the first film being 'Love Aaj Kal', which became a box office success.

These accomplishments have established him as one of the leading actors of Hindi cinema. He was awarded the Padma Shri civilian award by the Government of India in 2010.

As far as his personal life is concerned, his search for true love finally came to an end when he met Kareena Kapoor. The two exchanged vows in October last year.

Saif has films like 'Bullet Raja' and 'Happy Ending' lined up in 2014.

Here's wishing the Nawab great success!
