(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Harrison Ford doesnt mind being thought of as grumpy.
The American actor claims his independent attitude is sometimes interpreted negatively, but at 68 years old he isnt affected by people calling him a bad-tempered old man.
Harrison is philosophical about the way the public perceive him, and admits he quite likes being thought of as irritable.
Am I grumpy? Harrison asked. I might be. But I think maybe sometimes its misinterpreted. Ive always been an independent son of a b***h. So, if Im grumpy, then call me grumpy. Im all right with that.
In his latest film Morning Glory the star plays Mike Pomeroy, a serious veteran newsreader forced to co-anchor a light-hearted morning breakfast show.
The former Indiana Jones actor confessed he has never been interested in marketing himself as a product, and is instead more focussed on putting energy into the characters he plays.
It doesnt interest me to be Harrison Ford, he told British newspaper The Telegraph. It interests me to be Mike Pomeroy and Indiana Jones and Jack Ryan. I dont want to be in the Harrison Ford business. I take what I do seriously, but I dont take myself seriously. (C) Cover Media
