(Cover) - EN Showbiz - David Hasselhoff has revealed an impersonator tried to pick up his girlfriend.

The actor is dating Welsh beauty Hayley Roberts, who he met during auditions for TV show Britain's Got Talent. David has fans all over the world, with some admirers even making a living out of pretending to be the star. David is happy to inspire so many people, but wasn't impressed when one impersonator began flirting with Hayley.

"I was actually running away from a David Hasselhoff impersonator who was trying to pick up my girlfriend, Hayley," he recalled about his recent trip to Scotland. "She met him on the streets of Edinburgh and he was walking around dressed up as me saying, I am the third best David Hasselhoff in my village.'"

David is smitten with Hayley, with some reports even claiming the 59-year-old is planning to buy a house in Wales. He loves spending time in her home country and is embracing the local culture.

"She is a good Welsh girl, we are having a great time together," David gushed during an interview for British TV show Lorraine. "She has been teaching me some Welsh. My new name is Dai, Dai Hoff."

David went on to speak about his involvement with Simon Cowell's new TV game show Red or Black. Simon convinced David to perform a bungee jump in London for one episode, but the star admits he wasn't prepared for how terrifying it would be.

"I did the world's largest reverse bungee jump, which I had no idea was a world record. When I was up there, I was thinking, Payback is a b***h, you are going to owe me for this one!'" David laughed. "It was actually a lot of fun. It was 171 feet and it was actually fun because you reach zero gravity for one second you feel like a little seagull flying, it was great." (C) Cover Media
