Heidi Klum's Project Runway co-star says she "doing the right thing" in her split with husband Seal.

Nina Garcia serves as one of the judges on the hit fashion television show and gave her support to the German supermodel.

She told Life & Style that although Heidi's separation from the British singer is tough it may be for the best.

"She's a very strong lady," Nina told the publication. "I'm sure she's doing the right thing. She's really well. She looks great."

Heidi, 38, and Seal, 48, announced their plan to end their seven year marriage last month but have both continued to wear their wedding bands.

They have three biological children together; Henry, six, Johan, five, and Lou, two. Seal adopted Heidi's eldest child Leni from her relationship with Flavio Briatore.

Season six winner Irina Shabayeva told E! News on Monday that she was shocked at the split and their relationship seemed like "a marriage that would last forever and ever."

"Heidi always spoke very highly of her husband," Irina told the site. "She always seemed so happy with him and outgoing. It's definitely a shock."

But it was reported recently that the couple were "talking about getting back together."

"They do talk about getting back together," a source told OK! magazine. "They've told their kids. But they need to take some time for just the two of them at some point. The make up absolutely could happen!"
