One of the most loved actresses of recent times has been Kangana Ranaut who has been lauded for her bold choices and impeccable acting.

Kangana, who has defied myths in Bollywood with her each step, adds that she is here to prove that women are more than just pretty. She states that she is here to prove that there is more to her than just her pretty face.

In an industry where women are often considered and treated as a sex symbol and not a bunch of talent, Kangana wants to change people's perceptions and attitudes towards the fairer sex.

"There is so much talk of beauty in our film industry, especially when it comes to female actors. You're conditioned to believe that you're required only for the wind-blown hair and the smooth skin. But I am not here to be just a pretty little thing. And it's not just our industry but society in general, they would want you to believe that being a girl is all about being pretty," she said.

However, joining a now-famous Vogue Empower campaign, she has pledged to talk to underprivileged girls about their dreams and given them the much needed morale support and guidance.
