(Cover) - EN Star Style - Dame Helen Mirren thinks she washes up nice but is bemused to be called a fashion icon.

The 65-year-old British actress is currently promoting new film Brighton Rock, a thriller which charts the fall of Pinkie, a razor-wielding and dangerous-living teenager.

Helen always looks stunning on the red carpet, although she cant believe people praise her dress sense and attempt to emulate her.

"I think it's great, I'm so surprised by it," she told vogue.co.uk. "At my age, it's like, Wow, that's so cool. I never thought that might happen. And I think of myself as sort of a bag lady, really. I wash up nice, but mostly I'm not very stylish."

The beautiful actress is happy with the way she looks, and tries not to let insecurities get her down. If she could change one thing about herself, the petite star says she would probably opt for lengthier pins.

"I would like to have longer legs, definitely, if I could," she confessed. (C) Cover Media
