(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Hilary Duff has put her husband in charge of making breakfast and "light cleaning" duties.

The 24-year-old star and her spouse Mike Comrie welcomed their son Luca Cruz into the world in March.

Mike, 31, was an ice hockey player before he retired and now has some free time on his hands. Hilary has stepped in to ensure he doesn't get too bored.

"She had Mike trained to do diapers and bottle feedings, and she put him in charge of other household duties, including making breakfast, doing laundry and light cleaning," a source told National Enquirer.

Mike retired from ice hockey in February after undergoing three operations on his hip.

Hilary is working on her new album and is thought to be releasing another book this year. The pair are believed to be happy with the way they have arranged their home life.

"Hilary is a fantastic, loving and hands-on mom, but she's also getting lots of acting and modelling offers," the insider explained.

"Meanwhile, Mike's life consists of 24-hour diaper duty and grocery shopping and he's even taking cooking classes!" (C) Cover Media
