Filmmaker Sajid Khan's films have always been interesting. He has made movies like 'Hey Babyy', 'Housefull' and 'Housefull 2' which have done well at the box office. But his recent venture 'Himmatwala' was definitely a wrong pick for the director.

Starring Ajay Devgn and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead, the film received poor ratings from the critics, who slammed Sajid for not maintaining the standards of the original in the remake. Apparently, the filmmaker seems unfazed with the critics response.

He had claimed that his film would do well and earn up to 200 crores. Though the claims seem to be a little unrealistic at this point, the movie did manage to gain a decent foothold for itself at the box office in its first weekend.

The film has earned 31.14 crores in the opening weekend.

However, there has been a dip in the collection based on yesterday's numbers, and trade experts claim that the negative reviews of the movie might end up impacting the film's business.
