(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Glee staff have banned horseplay on set after Jane Lynch was accidentally struck by a football.
The actress plays quick-witted cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester in the American programme about a group of high school misfits who enjoy singing.
Jane was walking onto set when a football came flying into her face, smashing her in the nose. The actress was petrified she would be left disfigured, but was soon relieved when she realised it was just bruised.
Producers realise the majority of the cast are young adults and thats why theyve issued a ban on any throwing, tossing, or horseplay, a source explained.
Glee has made household names of stars such as Lea Michele, Chris Colfer and Cory Monteith, and all have agreed the new rules are fair. They were devastated to hear what had happened to Jane, and would hate for anyone to get seriously injured due to their fun and frolics. (C) Cover Media
