These days what is expected from any mega starrer big budget film is to cross the benchmark of 100 crore at the box office collection as every film looks up to beat the record set by the last. 

The latest to score a ton at box office is Sajid Khan's 'Housefull 2' which has now entered the coveted club of 100 crore and above scorers. An elated Director Sajid Khan recently exclaimed about his happiness on his microblogging page, "All screens are going Housefull. I attribute a major part of its success to Akshay. He has been a superstar for the last eight years or so and will be one for many more years to go. The best thing about the film is that Akshay's work has been appreciated and this film is Akshay's biggest hit overseas" wrote Sajid. 

Akshay being more humble posted a sweet message to thank the audience for making it special, "For all those congratulating me for Housefull 2, honestly 100 Crores is just a number but I'd be lying if I would say it doesn't matter. Hearing/reading words like super hit, excellent business, great word of mouth, back in form, are music to any actor's ears but again you guys are the only reason behind it.
