Daisy Shah's life story seems to be similar to that of
'Rangeela', as from dancing behind the actors in songs she went on to become the leading lady opposite
Salman Khan.
Daisy started her career as an extra in
Ganesh Acharya's group and later she started assisting him.
During the shoot of
'Dabangg', Salman spotted her and offered her
Kareena Kapoor Khan's friends role in
'Bodyguard'. However, to Salman's surprise, Daisy refused the role and went down South and started doing films there.
After two years she got a call and was asked to audition for
'Jai Ho', however, she was not offered the role right away.
Salman and
Sohail were not that excited about her, however, dad
Salim Khan convinced them about signing Daisy. And as they say, rest is history.
