Naseeruddin Shah, who is one of the most respected actors in the theatre and the Bollywood world, will next be seen in 'Dedh Ishqiya'. The shooting of the film is in full swing and Huma Qureshi will be sharing a lot of screen time with the actor.
The veteran star, who developed a good rapport with Huma on the movie sets, shared his experiences with the actress and the dos-and-don'ts when picking her roles.
Shah shared that Huma should be meticulous when selecting her roles, so she does not get typecast which is very common in the industry as ironically, Bollywood is apparently more comfortable with artists, who are well tested with a genre, and this does not always work in the favor of the artist.
Apparently, Huma was not totally on board with Shah's advice. She said that she is lucky to have worked in 'Gangs of Wasseypur' and 'Ek Thi Daayan', which have been of totally different genres.
She further added that she certainly would not like to get typecast, and would rather experiment with different genres. In fact there are filmmakers who have enough faith in the actress' acting histrionics and are ready to cast her in genres in which they have never seen her in before.
