We all know how Huma Qureshi is talented as an actress. She has proved her acting skills by doing many meaty yet different roles. Now the actress is all set to star opposite superstar Rajinikanth in his next untitled film. The film will have a plot of gangster war drama and is produced by Dhanush and directed by Pa Ranjith.

The official statement released by the makers of the film announcing Huma as the lead reads, "The makers were looking for someone with a strong screen presence as it’s a performance oriented role. Huma will play Rajinikanth's love interest. She is really excited. They start shooting in Mumbai from May 28 and Huma will start prep soon."

Huma was last seen in the comedy flick 'Jolly LL.B 2' alongside Akshay Kumar.
