Dhanush says he is breathing easy on the sets of 'Irandam Ulagam', unlike his earlier films with director and elder brother Selvaraghavan. "Earlier he used to be so strict and would never allow me to act on my own," he says.
The actor adds: "But now, Selva has given me enough freedom and allows to come up with my own performance. 'Irandam Ulagam' has a great script and I enjoy playing the lead role in it."

Besides 'Irandam Ulagam', Dhanush is playing the lead role in '3', a film directed by his wife Aishwarya. "Initially I had some doubts to be part of the project but thoroughly impressed by the script, I agreed to do the lead role."

The National Award winning actor (for Aadukalam) is all smiles about the health of his father-in-law Superstar Rajinikanth. "Rajini sir is super fine. He will soon start his forthcoming venture Rana." says Dhanush.
