Vidya Balan starrer 'Begum Jaan' has already created much hype about the film and is garnering appreciations from the masses. The film which is shot during the pre-partition era has been now declared tax-free in the state of Jharkhand by the local Government. Interestingly 'Begum Jaan' is the first film which is entirely shot in Jharkhand and hence the Government has declared 2 crore subsidy for the film for the promotion of the state.
Mahesh Bhatt shared the news on Twitter by tweeting, "Thank u Jharkhand ! Thank u Raghubar Das Ji ! Your support to our film Begum Jaan has made a great difference. Thank U ! @dasraghubar."
Vishesh Bhatt was also quoted saying, "Jharkhand played a lovely host. I extend a big thanks to the state government for this gesture. It will help the film to be available to more people because of the low ticket prices from day one."
Starring many big actors in the lead, 'Begum Jaan' will hit the theatres on March 14, 2017.
