With big projects like 'Kochadaiyaan' and 'Vishwaroopam' on cards, Kollywood is ready for yet another grand venture!

Director Shankar formally announced his forthcoming film with Vikram in the lead role. The film is titled ‘I’ and will hit the floors from July 15.

Starring Vikram and Samantha in the lead role, Santhanam is roped in for a cameo. The entire crew of the film is handpicked from various corners of the world.

'Malayalam superstar Suresh Gopi plays a very important role in the film and legendary Chevalier Sivaji Ganesan's eldest son G Ramkumar also has a major role. Costume designer of 'Men in Black' series Mary Vogt is designing special costumes; Anal Arasu and Peter Ming of China are in charge of providing daredevil stunts that will be realistically rendered. Australian company Rising Sun Pictures (RSP) who mesmerized the viewers in the Harry Potter series is in charge of the VFX’ said a press release.

Looks like Shankar is all set to make a legendary ‘I’.
