I feel guilty when I am given the credit: Sonakshi

3rd February 2014
Right from the very inception of her career, Sonakshi Sinha has been a part of the 100-crore club. Her early day films like 'Dabangg', 'Rowdy Rathore' and 'Son of Sardaar' gave her the tag of 'Bollywood Blockbuster Actress' in the industry.

Hence, when Shahid Kapoor's streak of flops was broken by the success of 'R...Rajkumar' which had Sonakshi as the leading lady, she was labeled as the 'lucky charm' of the film. Industry grapevine suggested that it was Sonakshi's charm that got the film roaring success.

Nonetheless, Sonakshi stood her ground recently as she refuted all these rumors. She stated that the credit of the film's success should be entitled to the whole team and not just one star.

"I feel guilty when I am given the credit for a film's success. It's not the right thing to do. A film is a product of team effort and R...Rajkumar did well because everyone of the team worked really hard," said Sonakshi who was especially in praise of her film's co-star Shahid Kapoor.

"Shahid performed really well in the film and hence it is unfair to give me all the credit. It was a good film and everyone associated with it had put all their efforts to make it so," she added.

Apart from refuting the credits coming her way she also shunned the rumors where she was linked to Shahid recently.

"If you are working with Shahid, link-up is inevitable," chuckles Sonakshi adding the cliche that they are good friends.

"No matter what people say, we will remain friends, I had a great time working with him but there is nothing more to our relationship than friendship," she added.
