"When I started my career as an actress, I found that my heart was not listening to me. It was an altogether new life. After two years I started loving films", said Anushka. 

Talking to journalists on the sidelines of a function in Hyderabad recently, she said, "I started experiencing my career. I just set aside defeats and never got overwhelmed at victories. Now, five years are over. I feel that I cannot live without films. Everything is possible in the time machine. I just shudder at myself, seeing the transformation."

She further said: "But, I believe that one can change professionally, but individually one should stick to certain principles, without which the true meaning of life will be lost."

Giving a suggestion to the newcomers, she said, "When we come into a world which is completely new to us, we will get a feeling that we cannot last long. But, they are the vital moments for us. Wherever we go, we should learn to adapt to the new surroundings. This was what I did initially.
