Top south Indian actresses Trisha, Ileana, and Shriya Saran have been issued notices for having failed to register with the Movie Artistes Association (MAA).

It is said that many actors and actresses, including top stars have not taken membership although they have been working in Telugu films for a long time.

Following this, the association has sent notices to all the artistes who have not taken membership yet. It has been said that they should join the MAA within 15 days.

President of MAA Murali Mohan said that he will be taking a firm stand on this issue and actors who fail to register before October 1 will have to face strict action.
