30th January 2014
Parineeti Chopra is known for unconventionally handling her films. The actress with her bubbly nature has been experimenting with various kind of roles since the very inception of her career.
She made her debut with a supporting role in
'Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl' and won all the prizes for her tom-boy character in the film. Then she thrilled the audiences with her bold roles in
'Ishaqzaade' and
'Shuddh Desi Romance' that earned her rave reviews. And now she claims to have taken the zeal for variety to next level with her role as a scientist in her upcoming film
'Hasee toh Phasee'. She confesses that it was a challenge to play the role.
"The role kept me hooked since the time of narration. I was all excited to play a mad scientist who is unconventional in every possible way. The moment you see her you know that there is something wrong with her. Her eyes are always wide open and her tongue sticks out all the time. She has no expression and acts like a robot. It was a challenging and a hilarious part. I took the film for the challenge," said Parineeti while promoting the film.
Starring Parineeti and
Sidharth Malhotra in the lead, the film is all set to release on February 7.
