IIFA honours 'Enthiran'

'Robot', the Hindi version of Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Enthiran', walked away with honors at the IIFA ceremony in Canada. The Shankar-directed film won the Best Art Director award for Sabu Cyril, Special Effects for Indian Artists and Make-up award for Banu.

Salman Khan's 'Dabangg', which is being remade in Tamil by Simbu as 'Vosthi', won a number of categories that included Best Action (S Vijayan), Best Choreography award (Farah Khan), Best Sound re-recording (Leslie Fernandes), Best performance in Negative Role (Sonu Sood), Best Debut (Sinakshi Sinha) and Best Screenplay (Abhinav Kashayap and Dilip Shukla), best play back song (Rahat Fateh Ali Khan) and Best Music Direction (Sajid Wajid and Lalit Pandit).

The four-hour-long IIFA Rocks show - conducted by Karan Johar and Anushka Sharma - unleashed a fusion of music, fashion and dance as awards were announced in various categories.

Dia Mirza cast her spell with a stunning dance medley of hit numbers such as 'Pyar Do, Pyar Lo', 'Parda Hai Parda', and 'Aapka Kya Hoga'. Mallika Sherawat gave a performance of the Arabian Nights.
