It's a big responsibility for me to direct Salman: Subhash Ghai

31st January 2013

Bollywood's Showman, filmmaker Subhash Ghai has been the man behind many epic films in the Hindi Film Industry.

Hence, it was saddening for his fans to be deprived of his work in the past few years. He last directed Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer 'Yuvvraaj' in 2008.

But now, he is all set to put it all behind, as he has donned the director's hat yet again for 'Kaanchi'.  The movie stars debutant Bengali girl Misthi, opposite Kartik Tiwari of 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' and 'Akaash Vani' fame.

However, he is also excited for his next directorial film with Salman Khan that will go on floors next year. They last worked together in 'Yuvvraaj' and teaming up with Salman has excited him yet again.

"We share a beautiful relation that goes beyond the equation of a director and an actor. He is like my family to me and we respect each other. We wanted to start our film as soon as possible but I want to start our movie only when my script is complete. It's a big responsibility for me to direct a superstar like him. As together we hope to make a wonderful film," he said.

He also confessed that there's no bad blood between him and Shah Rukh Khan as well. Hence, he states that if he has a script for him he would like to work with him too.

The two have worked together in 'Pardes' and Subhash feels that like Salman, SRK too is a superstar with whom he would love to work soon.
