Onscreen chemistry between Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone was always liked by the audience. And given this onscreen success ratio of their pair it was rumoured that filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh was keen to cast the duo in his next film.

While Saif has already been confirmed to star in his film, he apparently had offered the female lead role to Deepika.

However when Sujoy was asked to comment on the same, he refused to accept it. In fact he adds that he has not even considered Deepika for the role.

Rumour has it that he approached Jacqueline Fernandez for the same. The Sri Lankan beauty though confirmed the offer; she refused to divulge any further details on that.

"Yes, I have been approached by Sujoy. But it's too early to talk about it as the paper work is yet to be done. I am excited about reuniting with him after 'Aladin' and sharing screen space with Saif," she said.
