The singer split from Spanish model Sabina Vidal in December, after several months together. The news the couple had decided to end their romance came as a surprise to many as James had recently hinted he was planning to propose.

It is thought work commitments got in the way, as James has been busy promoting his new album Some Kind of Trouble. He is fiercely proud of the record, which he says is the one he enjoyed making the most.

The 36-year-old is now in America to discuss the release, which is where he was seen enjoying an intimate dinner with a mystery woman.

He was spotted having dinner with a tall, thin redhead at Gemma the other night while in town on his promotional tour for his new album, reports the New York Post.

It seems the dinner date wasnt a one-off either, as the twosome also perused the famous Meatpacking District together several days before their romantic meal. (C) Cover Media
