(Cover) - EN Showbiz - James Blunt has admitted that touring with 12 hairy men for two years was interesting.

The British singer revealed that he found the experience claustrophobic and he cant wait to be socialising out in the world with more regular people.

After the gruelling show fixtures he then hibernated in a recording studio to produce his new album, which he has worked very studiously on.

I did two years on the road in a tour bus with twelve hairy men very close to each other which is an interesting experience and then I was locked in a studio for 14 months making this album, he told Australian radio programme the Kyle and Jackie O Show. So its nice to get out and talk to some normal human beings.

The 36-year-old singer is currently promoting his album Some Kinda Trouble, with the first single released entitled Stay the Night.

James - a former army officer who has had hits such as Youre Beautiful and Goodbye My Lover - revealed that the track he is most proud of from his new creation took a matter of hours to pen and produce, while others took several months to perfect.

One of my favourite songs on the album, its called Turn Me On, it took seven hours to write and record and the rest of the album took 14 months so some songs take longer than others.

Unfortunately I write songs myself so if its a bad song then its my fault, he said. (C) Cover Media
