(Cover) - EN Showbiz - James McAvoy thinks moving to America for his acting career would be "daft".
The actor, who is currently promoting his movie X-Men: First Class, doesn't see the need to relocate because most of his films are shot in the UK.
The 32-year-old also revealed he is purposefully trying not to get over-ambitious.
"There's no need. I've never done a movie there so the idea of moving to America seems daft. The jobs I've wanted to do have just happened to not be in America, which suits me fine. I'm from Scotland and I've already moved once. I don't know if I want to move again. I've got all my pals here and my family," he told the British edition of Elle magazine.
The star also explained that he doesn't believe in trying to overcome each challenge that presents itself.
Although he is ambitious, he has learnt to control his career drive and chooses his battles wisely.
"I think I'm as ambitious as most people are, but I purposefully keep it in check. I actively act against my ambitions sometimes. I think that just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. Just because there's a summit in front of you doesn't mean you should scale it," he added. (C) Cover Media
