(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jamie Bell has revealed Steven Spielbergs Jurassic Park did something important to him.

The British actor is best known for playing the title character in Billy Elliot, for which he won the 2001 BAFTA Award for Best Actor.

The 24-year-old has revealed that hit dinosaur movie Jurassic Park was the first film he watched at the cinema. The star has revealed that after watching the Steven Spielberg-helmed movie, he knew he always wanted to act in a film produced by the legendary film-maker.

"It was Jurassic Park. I was eight years old and I was terrified because, you know dinosaurs! They're real! he told The Guardian. "At the end, the credits said: 'Directed by Steven Spielberg' and I thought: 'OK, I'm going to remember that name. Because he's done something to me here, something important.'"

Jamie is set to play the title role in Stevens Spielberg's latest film this year, The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of The Unicorn. The actor says he still cant quite believe that he is working with one of the worlds most famous directors and cites his upcoming film as monumental.

"If you told that kid watching those dinosaurs: 'You're going to be working with that man'" He shakes his head. "It's just incredible. A massive milestone. It has monumental connections, he gushed.

The Adventures of Tintin will be the first Spielberg film to be shot digitally. Jamie has revealed that because the film is an animation, he can still pop out in public without being too widely recognised. The actor says he steers clear of massive Blockbuster movies and states that Tintin is not on the same popularity scale as Spiderman,.

"I don't make huge movies, so I can go to the shops and hang out and it's fine, he said. "Besides, no one knows about Tintin in America. He's not Spiderman. If you ask a kid here about Tintin, he'll be like: 'You mean Rin Tin Tin? The dog?'" (C) Cover Media
