(Cover) - EN Showbiz - January Jones thinks people would be surprised to know how like a guy she is.

The actress portrays Betty Draper in American TV series Mad Men. Her character is ultra-feminine and ladylike at all times, which is a far cry from January in real life. She explained her favourite pastimes are watching American football and horse racing, which always surprises people when she tells them.

I'm really like a guy in a lot of ways, she told W. My screen saver is a picture of me with [American football stars] Eli and Peyton Manning taken at the Kentucky Derby.

January was born in South Dakota, but decided to try her luck in New York when she was 18 as she was desperate to launch her career. The 33-year-old still looks back on that time and marvels, as she doesnt know how she got through it. She felt completely unprepared for living in such a big city and had no idea how competitive things would be.
