(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Jason Bateman has branded movie love scenes as "weird".

The 42-year-old actor is one of the stars of upcoming comedy The Change-Up, which tells the story of a married guy who swaps bodies with his best friend in order to seduce a co-worker.

The movie, which sees his character Dave taking on Ryan Reynolds' character Mitch's physique, involved a nude scene.

"The way we originally shot the scene was that I came running in with a robe on and the robe was open, " he told Esquire. "But I knew that was half-a**ing it, and we went back and shot it one more time without the robe."

Despite being particularly daring for that scene, Jason has no plans to film a steamy clinch with a co-star just yet. That said, a scene with an especially attractive female could be appealing.

"I've never done a nude scene, I've never really done a sex scene, period," he added.

"You know, between the sheets with the clothes off, making it look like you're really in the middle of things. That would be weird. Things bump into each other, so I hear, and I have to assume everything works as normal, so I imagine there has to be a conversation between you and the actress beforehand.

"Listen I will take what I can get. If I have to pretend to make love to a strange, beautiful woman, then I'll do it." (C) Cover Media
