Jason Biggs worried what his mother would think about his infamous American Pie scene.

The actor stars in the teen movie franchise, which pushes the boundaries with its cheeky humour.

Jason was fearful about what his relatives would make of him getting up close and personal with a sweet treat in the 1999 film.

"I did worry what my mother would think. At the time I was auditioning for every I would do anything," the 34-year-old confessed on UK TV show This Morning.

"But that script really separated itself, it was funny but there was a sweetness. I'm not talking about the sweetness of the pastry."

This year the cast reunited for the fourth film, American Reunion, to show how the character's lives had developed.

The latest movie is just as mischievous as its predecessors, even requiring Jason to go nude for some scenes.

"The good thing about getting the DVD is you can press pause and enjoy it for as long as you want," the star joked.

"I would appreciate it if you would go out and buy a big screen maybe you don't want high def."
