For the first time in his career, Jayam Ravi will play a dual role. The actor will do two different characters - that of a 48 year old man and a youngster in his twenties - in a movie to be directed by Samuthirakani.

Amala Paul will play the heroine in this Tamil - Telugu bilingual, which will hit the floors soon. According to sources, the elderly man character which Ravi is doing in this film will come with some negative shades.

'While the youngster is a gentleman, the man in his late forties is a flirt. The movie's crux is about the confrontation between the two. It will be on the lines of Superstar Rajinikanth's Netrikan,' say sources.

However, they are quick to add that the two characters are not that of a father and son. 'Samuthirakani has come out with a fresh and interesting script,' add sources.
