The first look of Ekta Kapoor’s ‘The Dirty Picture’ has been creating a lot of waves in the industry and the highest impact that it has made is on Ekta’s dad, veteran actor Jeetendra. Jeetuji and his wife were amongst the first persons to watch the trailer and were stunned by it. The portrayal of his era made Jeetendra nostalgic and he had tears in his eyes.

The film has a lot of scenes that are quite similar to Jeetuji’s films like ‘Himmatwala’ that co-starred Sridevi along with him. He could not believe his eyes and is awestruck by the film. It seemed like Ekta’s ode to her father.

Shobhaa Kapoor too was astonished after seeing a few cuts of the film and could not believe that it was the same old Vidya Balan in the film that they had launched in Balaji’s telly series ‘Hum Paanch’. Vidya says that she and Ekta started their careers together and have come a long way.
